Best ways to make money – 2023

This year I’m working on making money and adding to my collection of Benjamin Franklin pictures.

Investing

I enjoy finding quality investments. I have spent about some years learning about what constitutes a good investment and I know what I like and what I don’t like. On the positive side of the ledger, I recently decided to invest in gold via the Perth Mint because the record shows that the 20 year returns are above 300 per cent which is good. I get no income from mentioning the Perth Mint, it’s just a good investment.

Ebooks and books

I became a published author recently which is a goal I have been working on for about three years. One e-book is already online and I shall be publishing book two in the series shortly. I’ve been learning how to make e-books that are interesting and gaining an understanding of what the readership finds interesting. So I’m writing my books as fast as I can and not trying to write a Pulitzer Prize winner from the outset, although that sure would be something. For me, making books is part of my long game.

Winning the lottery

I’m occasionally buying a lottery ticket. The goal is to buy the winning ticket for Division 1. Simple as that. I’ll let you know when I win. As one of my friends blogged to social media this evening, “Sometimes all you need is a billion dollars”.

Side hustle productivity tactics

Dial the positivity volume up to 8 or 10.

If you can manage it, run your favourite show in the background of your computer while you are working.

Limit social media activities to once or twice a day.

Do at least two hours of learning each and every day.

Schedule ergonomic breaks every hour.

Drink at least one litre of water per day.

Set a monthly financial goal and work towards it until you achieve it.
